Customer would need instructions on how to install and shoot top down with tripod.
Main steps are:
- Get an extension arm.
- Mount camera on tripod.
We would have 3 suggestions, first one is the recommended one:
Option 1. (suggested): Extender Arm:
This mount is the longest extender arm I was able to find. It extends up to 32” long and can mount to any tripod using included mounting stud. It also has a counterweight built in (however if this doesn’t provide enough counterweight, you can use a sandbag or weight on the base of tripod to keep it sturdy: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/358106-REG/Photek_TRIX_2500_TRI_X_2500_The_Tripod_Extender.html (if looking for a bottom light for this copy stand, to shoot images with white backgrounds, consider an Iconasys LED LumiPad Light Table)
If you are looking for a tripod to use with this, a great low cost, high quality suggestion would be (we use this in house): https://www.amazon.com/ESDDI-Aluminum-Monopod-Professional-Panasonic/dp/B07FSJXHY9/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=esddi+tripod&qid=1565883932&s=electronics&sr=1-2
Option 2. Tripod with Build in Boom Arm:
If you would like a tripod with build in boom arm, please see this option. Note, the extender arm wont extend as far as option 1 (so only ideal for small type objects): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0734ZZN61/ref=as_li_qf_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=track077-20&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B0734ZZN61&linkId=02a8fb426231d87e9399f11cb77d4ccb
Option 3. Macro Top Down Shots:
Consider a camera copy stand. https://www.amazon.com/Albinar-Macro-Stand-15-75-Release/dp/B004SFGPLQ/ref=asc_df_B004SFGPLQ/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312066954908&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=505419398656903356&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9023914&hvtargid=aud-801381245258:pla-571445293421&psc=1 (if looking for a bottom light for this copy stand, to shoot images with white backgrounds, consider an Iconasys LED LumiPad Light Table)
